An environmental buoy creation and diagnostic tool call "Buoy Spinner" (you know, like spin your own) completed for NOAA's Stellar Sea Lion project also let's the NOAA-TAO group define any kind of buoy buffer system they want. This program takes "Tweezers" (see above) into the realm of custom, sensor buoy creation as well as monitoring. Even more sensors than Tweezers are supported including nutrient sensor and fluorimeter along with all the usual short- and long-wave radiation, water temperatures, salinity, current meters, pressure transducers, wind, rain, relative humidity, etc. !!
